Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Greater Lansing Food Bank!

To ensure the continued health of our staff and volunteers, all volunteers must meet the following criteria:
 No current active illness (flu, cold, COVID-19 infection) or fever (temperature ≥ 100.4°F [38°C])
 No confirmed COVID-19 infection (or pending test results) of volunteer or anyone in volunteer’s household
 No recent (within last 14 days) illness (e.g., fever, flu, cold, cough, respiratory illness / shortness of breath)
 No recent (within last 14 days) known exposure to COVID-19 virus (e.g., COVID-19-positive patient, family member, household member)
 No recent (within last 14 days) international travel
 No recent (within last 14 days) interstate travel

All new individual volunteers must complete a brief initial application to view available opportunities - you can do so by clicking on one of the opportunities below. Click this link to see a full description of our current volunteer opportunities.

This online sign-up system works best for individuals - to schedule a group of up to 10 volunteers, please email volunteers@glfoodbank.org or call (517) 908-3698.

Please note: we are unable to accept court-ordered service volunteers at this time.

Food sorting opportunities are available during the day Monday through Friday, 9 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 4 pm.

At this time, all volunteers should be ages 14 years and older.
